Blending warmth with first-hand experience on modern-day psychological issues, Dr. Cindy a child development specialist, and marriage family therapist has worked closely with thousands of children, teens and families over the past thirty-five years. She was honored by being chosen for the 2004-2005 Who’s Who in American Women. As the founder of the Mommy and Me Company, and through the culmination of years of dedication to the well- being of families, Dr. Cindy became an award-winning author of the book "Fun with Mommy and Me".  In her recent book, "Parenting Unplugged", Dr. Cindy helps parents understand the importance of spending engaged time with their children.

Dr. Cindy’s professional standing has been spotlighted both nationally and internationally on radio and on NBC's TODAY SHOW, "CNN”, and THE VIEW. Dr. Cindy appears locally on NBC 6 “South Florida Today”, and CBS 4. In addition, to co-producing videos on health and family issues, Dr. Cindy has answered hundreds of questions, written blogs and articles for many parenting web sites and national magazines. Dr. Cindy has lectured and given seminars at colleges and other public forums throughout the country.

Dr. Cindy attended Ithaca College for her undergraduate degree, and then to The University of Miami and received her Master's degree in Music Therapy where she became a Registered Music Therapist. She received her Doctorate in Early Childhood Education and Development from Nova Southeastern University. Her post graduate studies led her to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

In 1987, Dr. Cindy entered into private practice where she continued her work with families and children. Simultaneously, she became the Director of the Cancer Wellness Program, an in-patient hospital- based program to help cancer patients deal with the emotional aspects of the disease. This program, created by Dr. Cindy, a cancer survivor herself, was the first of its kind in the country.

Dr. Cindy was a professor teaching graduate studies at Jose Maria Vargas University, in the area of early childhood education and development. She also was Director at Cambridge School, a private early childhood education center, working with over 250 families.

Dr. Cindy believes that one of her most important qualifications is that of being a mother and grandmother. She combines this experience along with her educational and therapeutic expertise, to bring special understanding and a sense of well- being to all the people with whom she works.
